MaxiGrip HM-Model (professional model)
This stud is easily fitted and dismounted with a special casing that is supplied with the product. Initially, the casing is set to the basic setting to provide a 3 mm projection of the stud above the tire surface. The projection may vary depending on the resistance of the rubber; in some cases the casing must be reset. Learning how to fit the studs is easy.

MaxiGrip X-Model
Use an ordinary cross point screwdriver.
Only a few millimetres of the stud should be visible above the tire surface once fitted. In this way, the stud head will gain a firm grip on the surface. Dismount with pliers.

In order to dismount the studs, the special casing is adjusted backwards.

The correct distance between the rubber and hard metal edge is 3 mm.

Bear in mind that MaxiGrip HM ice studs last for several seasons for most users.
